Originally founded by three New Zealanders, Gourmet Burger Kitchen has expanded across the UK to include this new restaurant in Bath. The bright and warm space, designed by Fusion DNA is lit up by the huge linear copper light boxes from the Light Corporation, and fixed together to created a structured chandelier.
The bespoke timber framed banquette seating by Craftwood Interiors is covered with a bright terracotta fabric from Designer Resource, giving the space a strong punch of colour opposite the forest green seating on the opposing side of the restaurant.
The use of bright, but complementing colours updates an otherwise natural space, with rough stones walls and ceilings and fitted features in palette wood.
The bar is tiled with reclaimed white painted pine boards and topped with painted zinc and copper studs, constructed by The French Group.
The tables are topped with zinc and antique bronze studs on a tulip base.
