Q1. What design challenges are unique to hospitality?

To move the design and style on without having to close the Hotel and start all over again. It should seamlessly move forward.

Q2. What’s your greatest source of inspiration?

Good craftsmanship, working with organic pieces and wonderful colours and fabrics.

Q3. What would your ideal hospitality project be?

It is our latest project called Ham Yard Hotel opening next year in London’s Soho, it will include fabulous suites, bowling alley & herb gardens.

Q4. Which is your favourite Firmdale restaurant or bar and why?

Brumus in Haymarket Hotel. It is fun and witty with a fabric I designed for Christopher Farr on the walls called Willoweave.
