Telepan Local, owned by New York Chef Bill Telepan, made his downtown debut with the opening of Telepan Local in Manhattan’s TriBeCa neighbourhood.

The name is a nod to those reliable, friendly, “go-to” joints essential to every neighbourhood, as well as to Telepan’s longtime dedication to locally grown ingredients. They serve American fare on small plates, with the emphasis on seasonality and locally sourced ingredients.

hOmE Design – owned and run by designers Evan and Oliver Haslegrave – were inspired by the natural environment, and have created a stylish farmhouse setting, reflective of Telepan’s straightforward cooking.

Guests can dine at the bar or in the main dining room, which features reclaimed wood panelling offset by sleek subway tiles, all anchored by a bustling open kitchen. A private dining room downstairs can accommodate up to 36 guests and offers an intimate retreat for special dinners and celebrations.

The private dining room is hOmE Design’s vision of a warm and welcoming farm-style kitchen. It incorporates dark-stained reclaimed wood, mirrors, opal glass and custom tables throughout.
